I write songs and am looking for a creative drummer for studio recordings. The music ranges from Can to Gorillaz, Devo, Metronomy, Elvis Costello, and Joni Mitchell—it’s a creative, wild mix of unconventional pop and folk/neo-country songs that are written and produced in an original way. I’d like to record 2 sets of 10 songs soon and am looking for someone to join me on drums and maybe percussions. I have a small budget for compensation, but it’s not much. It would be great if you were just as excited as I am about creating something special. I’ve already reserved several days at a wonderful little studio. looking to start a forró group, with a focus on arrangement of classic songs and develop/write others to play live (live music has been, to me, always part of the magic of forró (and other folk music), where people from all walks of life gather to dance).
i play soprano saxophone, have been working on covers from Luiz Gonzaga, Trio Nordestino, Dominguinhos, and a few others, including some instrumental songs like "Batuque Destemperado" e "Ovo". I could sing a bit and support with triangle too or light percussion. I have a little bit of a jazz background, am from brasil and play bossa and a bit of jazz too, lived however after 18 yo always elsewhere and now in Berlin since 2017.
Let`s build a forró band with an accordeon player (?or rabeca), a soprano sax, percussionist and zabumba TO PLAY LIVE!
For the band I do have a place to rehearse (Rockhaus)
PS: for a few years i played in a duo with an accordeon player and we always wanted to expand, but sadly he left berlin and I focused then on other projects where I play rock guitar.

Hey everyone!
I'm a guitarist who's been playing for about 4 years. I also play a bit of bass and piano, and I have a solid foundation in music theory—not formally trained to a high level, but enough to write, learn, and communicate ideas comfortably.
Some of my biggest influences are Hole, Elliott Smith, Heatmiser, and Sonic Youth. I also love artists like Joe Cocker, Canned Heat, Duke Ellington, Wes Montgomery, and plenty of other classics. My taste is pretty broad just as most people, ranging from Punk, indie rock, folk, blues, jazz, and classic rock or whatever you would call the influences mentioned.
Lately I've also been working on my vocals for about a year and a half. I'm still learning, but I'd really like to sing more and see where it goes.

I'm Robin (35, she/her), a singer-songwriter making chamber pop / theatrical electropop as Robin and the Goblins.
I'm looking for 1 - 2 musicians to help bring my songs to life live. Open to different instruments, but in particular:
• Cello
• Violin
• Piano / keys
• Ambient electric guitar or fingerstyle acoustic guitar (neofolk / darkfolk style)
Experience with Ableton/live production is a plus main thing is you like the music, enjoy creating arrangements and have a taste for the whimsical.
I have a finished album ready to perform (chamber pop / electropop, some Celtic touches).

I'm Marc and I reside in Berlin these days. I used to work as a recording engineer and freelance guitarist for years, and I've got lots of professional experience in both roles - albums, radio shows, commercials, on-location productions, gigs, what have you. I'm mostly a rock, blues, pop and groove player with some country licks and an occasional smidgen of jazz thrown in, yet flexible and always interested in the outré and experimental as well. Synths YES, and I do play some bass, drums and percussion too when the situation calls for it, so how about a tryout to see if we gel? I'm politically unaffiliated yet a staunch and liberal supporter of equal rights, personal freedom and pluralism myself, and I'm looking for people with solid timekeeping, previous band experience and adequate basic skills.
To me, your age is a number. Hey, I've got mine and you've got yours! Just be a sensible adult with no airs, substance abuse problems or arrogant star attitudes and I'm sure we'll be more than good. Yet I should probably mention that I'd much prefer to work on original material both yours and mine rather than covers, although I'm definitely fine with a couple here and there... yeah... well OK, I'd actually be _more_ than game with some choice Bowie classics if that's your cuppa joe :D
