For about 20 years i have been playing guitar and have been active in various thrash/death metal, metalcore, and hardcore punk bands. I have studio and live experience. Although I am deeply rooted in metal, I don't want to limit myself to this genre when looking for new musicians. For me, the most important thing is that a band has a coherent concept or that we develop one together. In recent years, I've listened to a lot of both electronic music and traditional folk music, so I could see myself making music in the future that isn't based exclusively on distorted guitar sounds. That's from my current band and I want to go into something more „moody" and less progressive, if you can say so. Nevertheless the song example refers to some technical stuff that should be possible for you to do (especially drums). And hopefully in general you think it is nice to listen to, but let‘s talk about it. Influence: Little bit of Industrial and Electronic, Death Metal/Core, Metalcore (no sing-songy Chorus), descent amount of Hardcore, small little bit of Black. I guess also Alternative / Nu Metal. Understandable (and in some parts clean) vocals. Clear goals: 1. More than one coming together per week for better practice, exchange of ideas and social interaction (no excessive drinking, no drugs) 2. Around one gig per month with potential for more 3. Examples of inspirations are ofc the big 6, also Suicidal Angels, Sepultura and Death, just to name a few.
Hi there, We are currently in urgent need of a double bass thrash machine, meaning a competent drummer :) At this moment we are a 5 piece thrash based band (25-39) with 3,5 years of playing together. Our roots are in thrash but seem to expand with every song written into other genres like black or death metal but also more experimental things. Examples of inspirations are ofc the big 6, also Suicidal Angels, Sepultura and Death, just to name a few. We already released an EP and are about to put our album out. Also we've played around 50 gigs in that time. Because of outer circumstances our current drummer will only be with us for 3 months. mukkenBand sucht Musiker35-54 Gitarrist Erfahren Über mich: Ich spiele Gitarre seit 1989. Mein Weg begann klassisch auf der Nylonsaiten-Gitarre, bis ich 1996 zur E-Gitarre wechselte. In den späten 90ern kam die 7-Saiter hinzu, und seit 2010 bewege ich mich leidenschaftlich im 8-Saiter-Bereich. Parallel dazu habe ich die Bariton-Gitarre für mich entdeckt (fokusiert auf 6-saitige Instrumente). Den Bass nutze ich seit 2004 ergänzend als Produktionsinstrument. Stilistischer Werdegang: Angefangen im Punk, Grunge und Thrash/Speed Metal, entwickelten sich meine Interessen über die 2000er hin zu progressiven Klängen. Während die Geschwindigkeit zeitweise in den Hintergrund trat, gewannen Stoner, Doom und Post-Metal an Bedeutung. Durch die tief gestimmten Instrumente habe ich ein ausgeprägtes Faible für alles Schwerfällige, Düstere und Atmosphärische entwickelt. Schräge Taktarten (Tool, Meshuggah, Mudvayne) sind für mich mittlerweile der Standard – den 4/4-Takt beherrsche ich aber natürlich auch, wenn es der Song verlangt. ;) Aktuelle Projekte & Suche: Death Metal Band (im Aufbau): Hier kehren die Speed-Eskapaden zurück – sehr finster und technisch. Eine Mischung aus 95er Old School (Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse), Fear Factory-Stakkato und dissonanten Klängen à la Ulcerate. Wir spielen auf 7-Saitern (Drop-A), meist in geraden Takten. Ein großartiger Sänger ist bereits an Bord. 👉 Wir suchen: Einen versierten Drummer! SloBurn-Metal-Projekt: Dissonant, atmosphärisch und extrem tief gestimmt (F1 mit Sub-Bass F0). Einflüsse von Paradise Lost bis Bongripper. Besetzung (Sängerin, Bass und Gitarre) steht, allerdings hängen wir aufgrund von Schlagzeugerabstinenz derzeit in der „Produktionshölle“ fest. 👉 Wir suchen: Einen Schlagzeuger, der Lust auf massive Soundwände hat!

Da wir allerdings unsere Songs mit einem Drummer fertig schreiben wollen, benötigen wir dich, dass du Teil der Band wirst. Songs auf Anfrage. Konzept ist vorhanden Bandname leider noch nicht. Und wir wollen auf die Bühne und Songs veröffentlichen.
