I´m looking to join or form a band in Berlin. I´m primarily interested in alternative rock, garage rock, punk, grunge and classic rock, and I'd love to work on original music rather than just covers. I'm also a passionate songwriter and interested in contributing to lyrics and the whole writing process. The most important thing for me is to get along as a band. My main instruments are piano and guitar, with piano being my main instrument and guitar more so as a songwriting tool, but I am comfortable playing basic rhythmic guitar on stage to accompany my singing. I am very passionate and hard working and will attempt to try and play any song, if it means playing on stage with a band as passionate as I am. Inspirations of mine are PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Blondie, Patti Smith, Beth Gibbons and many many more I have two published songs out on Spotify, however I am looking to turn my music into more of a grunge-three-piece style of music. My vision is musical simplicity and intense lyricism. I want prioritize live performance. A stage presence between PJ Harvey and David Bowie - colourful, stylish and maybe a little theatrical, but honest and simple. We’re three guys in our late 20s / early 30s (drums, guitar, guitar + vocals) starting a band and looking for a bassist. We’re currently working on a set of covers in the alternative / grunge / nu metal / post-hardcore / heavy rock area, with a mix of 90s/00s influences and some more modern indie/post-punk elements. So far we’ve been playing Alice in Chains, Deftones and Nirvana, and we’re looking to build from there. The idea is to start with covers, eventually write our own stuff and start playing local gigs before too long. We’re not too concerned about everyone being at the exact same skill level. Looking for a kind, passionate DRUMMER with a rock solid groove. We're a guitarist (m) and a bassist (f) who have played together in a band before but after our beloved drummer left we're looking to start something new in the direction of sad punk/noise/grunge. We're passionate about creating together, which means we prefer writing songs collectively, jam, adjust, jam, puzzling it together until we're happy (in opposite to one person just bringing a nearly finished piece and telling everyone else what to do). This kind of process can be nerve wracking so we think it's most important that we "click" and are on the same page. Hi, we’re an alt/indie rock band (guitarist, bass, drums) looking for a lead guitarist. We don’t need anything too fancy, or over the top, but something that fits emotionally and tone-wise. Our main influences are Pixies, Lemonheads, Jay Reatard, Bowie, a bit of grunge, maybe also Talking Heads, and lots more. Our ages range from 30s to 40s, but we don’t care, how old you are, as long as your fingers are not plagued by arthritis (if they are, then genuinely sorry about that!). Hey! My name is Sofia, I just moved to Berlin and I'm a singer/musician/songwriter from Portugal. I do my own music but I love playing in a band live much more than by myself so I'm looking for any musicians that would like to be in a band - a guitarist, bassist and drummer would be good to start but if you play other instruments we can try it as well. We can play my songs or write new ones, whatever you prefer, I would of course love to create our own sound and identity as a band. Music style would fall into indie rock, alternative, dreamy, grunge, garage band style. Some influences would be The Sundays, The Marias, The smiths, The doors, Radiohead, Big Thief. My voice is very soft, melodic, "ghosty", dreamy and soprano, if you like soft female voices mixed with heavy rock/indie then this could be our vibe :) I would like to rehearse at least once a week but we can of course be flexible according to everyone's availability.
