ÜBER: Update 02/25 Hi Drummer und Drummerin, wir (Stone Cold Maze) sind drei Musiker ( Bass und 2x Gitarre/Gesang; 38, 41), die in Weißensee einen gut ausgestatteten Proberaum haben und auf der Suche nach einem Schlagzeuger sind. Wir beherrschen unsere Instrumente, haben aber keine professionellen Ansprüche. Unterm Strich sind wir ganz umgänglich, probieren jede Idee erstmal aus und sind vor allem sehr geduldig, da wir null Zeitdruck haben. Unsere Band würden wir vom Stil und Sound her grundlegend als 70’s Hard Rock orientiert (also “Vintage Rock”) nennen. Mischt sich aber mit Grunge-, Punk- oder Blues-/Blues-Rock-Elementen. (Eben ein breit gestreuter Mix aus unseren Vorbildern, ohne dabei zu klingen wie sie. Etwa 15 Grundgerüste eigener Songs sind vorhanden, die wir weiter ausarbeiten möchten. Aufnahmen via Audio-Interface und Laptop sind vorhanden und auch möglich. Wir stellen uns das Schlagzeug als treibendes und groovendes Element im Bandkontekt vor. Dabei kann das Schlagzeug ruhig etwas selbstständiger sein und mehr in den Vordergrund treten (also nicht nur ein Begleitinstrument). Wir proben 1xWoche , wenn es passt gern auch ein 2.mal. Sondern ein freies Ensemble. Eher komponierte oder strukturierte Musik, also nicht nur Jam-Orgien. Als Referenz fiele mir vielleicht 17 Hippies ein, Cuadro Nuevo oder Studnitzky (bin aber längst nicht so virtuos...). Gesang kann, muss aber nicht. Ich spiele gut und seit langem Bass, mit Aufnahmen und Konzerten usw., bin am Kontrabass aber noch nicht so ganz professionell. Ich suche Leute mit guten Ohren, nicht unbedingt schnellen Fingern. Band looking for drummer Hello there, we're looking for a kind, passionate DRUMMER with a rock solid groove. We're a guitarist (m) and a bassist (f) who have played together in a band before but after our beloved drummer left we're looking to start something new in the direction of sad punk/noise/grunge. We're passionate about creating together, which means we prefer writing songs collectively, jam, adjust, jam, puzzling it together until we're happy (in opposite to one person just bringing a nearly finished piece and telling everyone else what to do). This kind of process can be nerve wracking so we think it's most important that we "click" and are on the same page. About us - We are both rooted in the lefty DIY culture of Berlin - German native speakers - mid 30s to mid 40s - We are inspired by: Julie, Wipers, Emmy Hennings, Sonic Youth, Dead Moon, Riot Grrrl We both have full-time jobs (or nearly full-time), but are ambitioned when it comes to the band. I am class of 1972, born and raised in Turin (Italy), my musical training was born to pass from English Punk to flow into the first musical experiences in the underground hardcore punk and then refine sounds and musical style with the Metal '80, Grunge '90 , Nu Metal etc..... What I am passionate about in sounds in the last 15 years is Stoner in it's more (Psychedelic) Stoner/Doom sense, perhaps because the first musical reference band for me is Black Sabbath who in every sense invented Metal and the above sounds. The bands that inspire me are too many x point them out therefore I finally get to the point...... I would like to find other fans of these genres to create a musical project (live and performances I can be there but they are not the focus of the project) that has a rough and distorted Weedeater sound that is mixed with dark sounds of Alice in Chains with atmospheric (sludge doom) metal tracks like Sleep/Electric Wizard etc. ... for which singing is not needed ( unless the singer has skills like Tatiana Shmayluk of Jinjer, or like Layne Staley of Alice in Chains). I like to compose the bass lines of the pieces I tend to start from, which is why I like to create specific sounds for almost every piece I play.
